Question from a client:
Hi Romalan my website got deindexed, what I can do to reindex the website. I know I have a ton of links and the website was ranking well, but I am not sure what to do as Google does not have a support team for this issue?
I have lost all my traffic with the generic search terms. I am not sure what to do.
That is a good question, this did happen to 2 of my websites during our Christmas promotion, and it sucked.
Here are the steps I took to reindex my website
The only way people will be able to find you will be to search “directly for your company name”, and as you know you will not rank for the other terms.
How is how I reindex my 1st blog:
- Try to ping the website
- Post a new article and go to a big newspaper website and post a link to the article
- Look at the reasons for deindexing the blog in your Google Webmasters Account
This is a free service that allows you to place additional tracking code on your website. This website created by Google will also allow Google Spiders to better index your blog.
In the control panel look for errors and any flags as Google will be able to tell you why, (if this happens) the reasons for your blog being deindexed.
If you do not have this code, please place this immediately. To get the code to put on your blog, simply search for the term Google webmasters and you will get a link to the website.
My second blog refused to reindex and my website was placed in the Google sandbox. You can Google the term “Google sandbox” and this usually happens when you built links too fast to your website.
Unfortunately you have t o wait a few months. The only way to reindex the website faster (from my experience) is to post unique content and get HIGH quality links that are related to the article.
That will allow your website to be re-indexed faster.
